Can you tell us if there is a traditional homespot of the Schwertfegers? Is it near Hannover Germany, or do you know if that was a place where there were many Schwertfegers in the mid 1800s? Also, what is the traditional spelling? I was told on a German list that it most assuredly was originally Schwertfeger...
