Hallo, my name is Manfred Schwegmann from
Emsdetten in Germany.
The first Schwegmann I know who noticed is
"Gerardo to den Swege" 1413 in a Village named Schwege in Glandorf/Osnabrück (near Bramsche/Hannover) the Farm he lived was built in 1367. The history is in my hands.
my grandfather was coming in the first half
of 20th century from Thuine/Lingen to Emsdetten. The definitiv first Schwegmann in Thuine emigrated there in 1716. I think but
I have no indizes, he came from Glandorf - on
my mine the "Basic of all Schwegmann's"
I would be happy to get answers and help
of anyone who read this
please excuse my bad english...
