hello christine,
It is nice to hear from you.My line of the family moved from covington to cincinnati. Here are some names and dates that i have for my family.
Hermann Schwarte b. 8 april 1814 Germany
-he came to America in 1847 & was naturalized in Covington in 1852 I believe that he married Margaret Meibers, however i have been unable to prove it.
Herman J Schwarte b. 21 March 1857 d. 31 Jan 1936, Cincinnati m Phillomina Siebert
Raymond John Schwarte b. 22 June 1899 Covington d. 5 Dec 1970 Cincinnati, m Elisabeth Schiedrich
Raymond's siblings were: Edward Earl, Florence, Olive, and Vera
Raymond's only child was Kenneth Schwarte, my grandfather.m. Mary Margaret Bagot.
