Naturalization 6th Oct 1868
Carroll County, Illinois
his signature: "Konrad Schurter"

Also on the Document is:
"Petition, Final Oath and Certificate (Discharged Soldiers)"
Conrad's petition is made 28 September 1868
states that he was a native of Switzerland,
arrived in the U.S. in July of 1864(when over the age of 21),
that he enlisted in Company B, 45th Illinois Infantry
and he served until 03 Jun 1865, when he was honorably discharged.
Has anyone researched the family of this immigrant
from Switzerland??
