I am looking for descendents in the U.S. from my Schumacher line. I would like to find out where they immigrated to (if they did) and where their descendents are now.
Mr greatgrandfather, Frederick "Fritz" Schumacher (b. 3/41837 in Huttermuhle, Greiveldingen)immigrated from Luxembourg in about 1862 ftom Greiveldingen. He traveled to Milwaukee and settled in St. Paul, Minnesota. His siblings were Catherina (b.2/15/1839), Elisabeth (b. 7/11/1842), Nicholas (b.12/4/1844)and Helena Margaretha (b.9/4/1849).
His ancestors were Nicholas (b. 12/3/1799 in Lenningen), Johannes Wilhelm (b. 11/1/1764 in Lenningen), Joannes Arnold (b. 11/20/1727 in Erpelingen), Leonard (b. 6/10/1702 in Erpeldingen), Heinrich (b. 5/15/1673 in Erpeldingen)and Mathias (b. in Erpeldingen).
Nicholas was married to Anna Maria Stronck (b. 6/24/1806 in Huttermuhle, Greiveldingen).
Johannes Wilhelm was married to Helena Magdalena Michels (b. 12/5/1770 in Palzem).
Joannes Arnold was married to Elisabeth Kutten (d. 6/4/1729 in Lenningen).
Leonard was married to Margaretha Zammer/Zimmer (b. abt 1692 in Oberanven).
Heinrich was married to Susanna Putz (b. 3/28/1682 in Erpeldingen).
Mathias was married to Catharina Thorn (b. in Bous).
I would appreciate any information and would be willing to exchange information.
