Edward William Schuller
Edward William Schuller, 88 of Palm Desert and Oceanside, Calif. passed away at home on Saturday, January 28, 2012. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 30, 1923 to Edward Lawrence Schuller and Myrtle Elizabeth Goy. He was an aerial photographer with the 8th Air Force during WWII and married Jean Mary Squirrel in Ipswich, England on May 13, 1944. They lived in Chicago and Oceanside. Edward is survived by his three children: Kenneth Edward Schuller (Carol) of Castle Rock, Wash.; Edward William Schuller (Michelle) of Chandler, Ariz and Bridget Mary Ramos (Gilbert) of Oceanside, Calif. as well as his love of 35 years, Joanne D'Amico of Palm Desert, Calif. Other survivors include 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, three sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean, his parents, and 2 sisters. Ed was a Real Estate Broker in Oceanside and worked in various affordable housing positions in San Diego, Riverside and Maricopa County, Ariz. He loved his family and retired in 1997. Ed enjoyed gardening, NFL football and travel. Private arrangements were handled by the Neptune Society. The family suggests donations to a charity of choice .
