I found out that my Schueler's also had a spelling of Scheeler---were from hesse darmstadt germany.
John Scheeler b 1830-1874
wife Katherine Frye
John Ia
Catherina b 1859 NY
Frank b Ia
Xavier b IA
Anna Marie b IA
George b IA
Christina she died in early 20's in IA
John/Katherine came from Germany to NY as their dau Catherina was born 1859 NY--then they went to iOwa.
would you have any info on this family?
I have all the birthdates--- and found out some went to calif to live..Frank--Anna and John went to Calif.
