Johannes Schuck (1694-1767) arrived at the port of Philadelphia on the ship "John and William" from Rotterdam on 17 Oct 1732, after a voyage of 17 weeks, in which 44 of the passengers died during the trip. With him were his wife Anna Maria (abt 1698-?)and their children Hans, Maria, and Catherina. They were recorded as Palatines on the ship manifest. Johannes died on 29 Dec 1767 in Williams Twp., Northampton Co., PA. Son Hans was born in 1724, and daughters Maria abt 1726, and Catherina abt 1728. Hans Schuck had at least 3 children, all born in Lynn Twp., Northampton Co., PA: Catherine, b. 19 Jul 1759, d. 14 Apr 1839, Maria, b. abt 1761, and Johannes, b. 15 Sept 1761, d. 11 Feb 1799 in Haines Twp., Centre Co., PA. Johannes and his wife Elizabeth Barbara Ohl Schuck traveled to Northumberland Co., PA in 1789. I have a ton of stuff on this Johannes and his descendants, down to my wife, if anyone wishes to follow up on this.
