Hi, Paul,
Although I do not have anyone with the name Chrstian or Nicholas, I thought I would respond here anyway. You have probably taken note that there just are not many of us looking for a Schreyer/Schreier/Schroyer.My direct line goes back to Simon Schreyer who arrived in Philadelphia in 1752 with his wife and children. All of the children were baptised at the Evangelist Church in Rappenau between 1729 and 1748.There is good evidence (from the first baptism) that Simon came from Bonfeld.I don't know if you have a Simon lurking anywhere or if your localities might match anything.I have concluded that I need to get to a family history center to be able to do anything more on my line, and that is not an easy task from here.Simon Schreyer settled in Bedminster Township in Bucks County, PA and attended the Tohickon Church. My direct line later moved to Milton, Northumberland County, PA then to Lock Haven, Clinton County, PA.
Mary Lou
