I believe the original Schremp and his wife were Germans from Baden, thus, no hint of Native Americans. Your early NC lines would be more likely to have the possibility of a Cherokee marriage, mostly because they were living amidst more Native Americans than the Missouri Germans were by the time they arrived in the 1830-40s. I haven't noticed much Indian intermarriage in the Perry Co area, except early on with the French lines.
