I have read through Jacob Shaffer Civil War papers and have found the Jocob was married to Catharine Marg Schrieber on the 20th of March 1849 in Hollidayburg, Penn. by the Rev. John Martin. I am looking for information on Catharine to see if I can take her back beyond that point. I add Daniel Cummings to the mix because she married him after the death of Jacob Shaffer. Any information would be great, thanks in advance.
