Hi again Barbara My grandmother Mary Shriber Herzel was born in New York City in 1858, the daughter of Jacob and Maria____ Shriber. She had a pair of twin brothers Henry and Jake. According to the info, I find these twins were born in 1857. Their mother Maria died, either while they still lived in NYC or after they moved to NJ. Jacob married again to Wilhelmina Krouse and they had more children. The family moved to Mi near Battle Creek where more children were born. Then moved near Hastings,Mi and had more children.Later moved to Carleton Center also near Hastings where the last child was born. Jacob Shriber died in 1905 and is buried in West Carleton cem beside Wilhelmina who died in 1911. Also Jake, one of the twins, is buried near them, as he died in 1883 at 25 yrs. I have pix of their stones I can send you. Jerilee Hostetler
