William H, Schreiber, NM, MS, vaudeville

I'm looking for info about the life and relatives of my great uncle, William Henry Schreiber. He was born about 1890-1900, lived for awhile in Meridian, MS, then in Gallup and Albuquerque, NM. He was a vaudeville composer and musician, played the "Orpheum Circuit," and wrote a number of songs, operettas, etc., often with lyricist Joe Scotti.

Uncle Will raised my mother in Albuquerque during the 1920s and 1930s, and was married to Carrie (Caroline Netter) Schreiber of Meridian, MS. He spent most of his last years in Amarillo, Texas, then was in a nursing home somewhere in Tennessee (perhaps Memphis), where he died around 1980.

Many thanks,
William H. Reid, M.D>
