This is what I know of your ggrandmother, Magdalena Schraut. she was married to Nikolaus Weier (Weyer). Magdalena was his second wife. Magdalena lived at 243 in Csene, Torontal County, Banat Region, Hungary, now Cenei, Romania before coming to US. She had the following brothers (Karl -my grandfather, born 10/10/99, George, Peter, Michael, John). Name of town Csene is Hungarian, Tschene is German. Your GGrandmother Magdalena's father was Peter Schraut. He was born in 1852 in Csatad, Torontal County, Banat Region, Hungary, now Lenauheim, Romania. He died March 1901 in Csene, Hungary of appendicitis. Peter was a musician in the military, he played flute. Your GGrandmother Magdalena's mother was Magdalena Dor/Doher/Bohr/Boher. She was born 1859 in Csatad, died April 1937 in Phila.,PA with kidney problems. Immigrated in 1913 through Ellis Island. Her parents were Mateus and Regina. Mateus was a farmer whose first name may have been Mathew. Your GGrandmother's husband Nikolaus was my mother's godfather (Margaret - daughter of Karl Schraut). There are still several people I know still alive who knew your GGrandmother. Let me know of any additional questions or discrepancies you have with my data. Also I would be interested to know of any information you might have. Contact me through this board or email me directly

Your relative,

Ray McIntyre
