Donna,

The Caroline Harmening I am researching is my g grandmother born 1827 in
Schaumburg, Lippe, Germany. I can refer you to a web site that may be of
value to you as there is listed a Caroline Dorothea Mensching born 1844. She's
listed under a Harmening name, so I think maybe Mensching is her married
name. I don't have the web address, but research "Schaumburg, Lippe, Germany"
and there you will get a listing of families in "Probsthagen". The listing has
quite a few Harmening names.

If you have any problems getting into this web site let me know and I'll see if I
get you better info. Good luck.

Anne
