I do not believe that the Jan Luycas who arrived in America on 17 February 1659 with a wife and "suckling" child is the same as Johannes Lucasz Schouten.
Johannes Lucasz Schouten apparently was already well established in America by 1657 when, as their employer, he brought to America two farm hands (Johannes Blank and Wilhelmus Stilmenck) and a house maid (Geisjen Staats). This information can be found in "Ships Passenger Lists New York and New Jersey", Ed. Carl Boyer, 3rd.
