The following are parts of messages about my WHEELER ancestors. Is there any connection between your Pieternella SCHOONMAKER and the one who is my ancestor? Easy to make assumptions, but I have learned the hard way about assuming in genealogy work.

The first information that we have is Joseph WHEELER m 4 June 1724 to Pieternella SCHOONMAKER in Ulster Co, NY in the Old Dutch Church of Kingston, NY. She was b 17 Mar 1796 in Rochester, NY. They had a son Joseph.

I am from Joseph WHEELER b 1726 NY d 1790 Northunberland Co PA m 1748 Maria ALice HOLMES b 1733 NY d aft 1797 KY. Their dau Elinor WHEELER b 1749/50 Bucks Co PA d bef 1816 TN m bef 1768 Robert Desha.
