Still no Anne, but I have some new information. Edward Gordon Scholls parents are said to be John and Anna J Schults. Edward Gordon Scholes and Florence Myers had six children including Wilton E:

Virgil, b 1920
Carolyn 1921-1979
Gloria, b 1923
Gordon, b 1925
Garland E (1926-2002)

Gordon, the son was likely the Pvt killed during WWII.
