I am trying to document the family of JOHN LOCKAND SCHOFIELD b. 6 May 1852 Blackville, Northumberland, New Brunswick, s/o JOHN SCHOFIELD and MARY JOHNSON CONNORS; d. Mar 1927 Montana. In 1877 he married CARCILLA B. SINCLAIR,who may have died 1902 in Pinos Altos,Grant, New Mexico. 1907 he was in Montana where he was appointed to the Montana State Senate, and a wealthy land owner. Prior to Montana he lived in several other states and in one report had several difficulties with the law and was under arrest in Bangor, Maine. He also married a second time, after his first wife died when struck by lightening.
I would very much like to correspond with anyone who could help me document this famiy. I have other information to share.
