John, it certainly sounds like we are following the same Schoenhals family!!! I just looked at another of your postings and you mention an Evangelische Kirche connected with "Gemunden" (spelling?) http://genforum.genealogy.com/germany/messages/22455.html
To answer your question; as of yet, I (and other Schoenhal cousins)do not have any ancestors of Catherine Schonhals Schott. But, In St. Louis, this family was part of the Holy Ghost Evangelische Protestant Kirche. And based on the baptismal record of Catherine's daughter (Anne Katherine) the family (or at least Catherine's husband,George (Johann) Schott) hails from "Niedergemunden". I am now wondering if the LDS microfilm will have the marriage record of George and Catherine.
