I was excited to see your message. My great-grandfather was Posie Shuffler. His wife Sarah Naomie, was a Pendley, the daughter of Elijah & Lavina Pendley. You are appearantly related to the Cranfords in Newton, NC. Oklona Clevland Shuffler Cranford (my mother's aunt Okie) was my grandfather's youngest sister. Also, George Cranford's mother is buried at our church cemetery here at Mt. Mitchel Methodist in Cabarrus county. There is much more I can share.
