Henry Anthony "H.A." Schnieders, 80, of Louisville, died Thursday at Caritas Medical Center. He was a mill superintendent for Home Supply Company for 62 years, a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, ans Army veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Dixie Post #220. Survivors include his wife, the former Dolores F. Schum; a son, Thomas Schnieders of Glendale, Ky; three daughters, Deborah A. Thompson, Pamels F. Thronhill and Lisa M. Fey; brother, Charles Schnieders; three sisters, Mary Langnehs, Alvina Sampson and Carol Cashin; three grandchildren, Staff Sgt. Rusty Schnieders, Christie Burt and Amanda Harrod; and two great-grandchildren, Bobby Burt III and Madison Harrod.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Catholic Church, 6801 Dixie Hwy.,with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. Saturday and 1-9 p.m. Sunday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.,a family-owned and operated funeral home.
