I am searching for the town of origin for ANTON SCHNIEDERS who was born in either August or October of 1837, inn the Kingdom of Hannover, possibly near Lohne bei Lingsn. He was Catholic.

In 1859, he sailed to the US aboard the J Ahlers possibly in the company of 4 other young men named Hermsen and Specker.

He came to Cincinnati and was first a journeyman tailor, then had a shop at 923 Barr Street.

Married Maria Theresa Dorenkamp in 1865 in Holy Trinity Church.
Thank you, Buffy
