I just saw your message about Schneiders from Northampton Pa. I have been desperately searchi9ng for the parents of my orphaned 2nd great grandfather, John Philip Snyder (spelling may differ) born aug 30 1808. Next info I have on him was in Lansing Tompkins Ny when he was in church records. He married a girl from that church. Have her family back to wurttemberg Germany. Do you know anything about a John Philip Snyder. There are Peter, Johns, Georges and many others that have in church records and land records all in Norhampton and then in Cayuga/Tompkins Co changed names in United Congregations of Milton and Sipio. Anything at all sound familiar?
