I am looking for anything I can find on this gentleman. He is my exhusband's father and grandfather to James' and my sons, Charles and Tarl Schneider. He died, as far as I know around 1962 and Mary, his wife, just died last November.
He was called "Red" for most of his life and that is just about all I know. I was able to access a partial military file on him. He joined the Army Air Corp in 1945 out of San Antonio, Tx. He was born in Cameron Co, Tx according to his military records in 1921. Apparently, he and Mary who was also in the Womens Army Corp, met and married while in the military. James, his middle son, was born in San Antonio Tx in 1950. Mary died in Alamogordo, New Mexico while he is buried, rumor has it, in El Paso at the National Federal Cemetary. That is all I truly know and with Mary gone and the sons having little information, I need help to dig further.
