I'm tracing the ancestry of my wife's family. Her paternal grandmother was an only child, a Leona Bertha Schneider, daughter of William Schneider and Elizabeth Hemmer who married at st. Marys Cathedral in Belleville, IL on July 24, 1907.

William Schneider was the son of Frederich Schneider and Mary Schmitt (born abt 1848, uncetain where, died Oct 29, 1928 and buried in Greenmount Catholic Cem, Belleville).

Any information on this Schneider and/or Hemmer family would be appreciated.
