Delayed 1945 birth certificate has son's name listed as Oscar Schnidarich (birth 30-Apr-1915)and parents names Louis Schnidarich & Frances Paler. Place of birth listed as Marburgh Austria.
I'm trying to figure out why the Schneider spelling was used in place of Schnidarich on all found US documents.
Does "ich" mean anything special in a foreign language?
