I am trying to find information about my paternal grandfather, whose name was either william schneider or john schneider. He was married to irma schmuck and had 2 children that I know of; my father william john schneider born in 1944 and his sister karen ann schneider born in 1946 (heffernan). I know he was a NYC police officer who spent time in jail. Any information would be extremely helpful.
