"Religious Telescope," Dayton, Ohio, Feb. 12, 1890:
"MARGARET SCHNEIDER, wife of the late Philip Schneider, was born in Germany, and died in Hagerstown, Md., January 9, 1890, aged 89 years, 10 months and 27 days. She was converted early in life, and for more than half a century was a member of the United Brethren in Christ, which church she first joined in Chambersburg, Pa., and was subsequently transferred to St. Pauls congregation in Hagerstown. She was a faiful Christian and church-member, and died triumphantly through faith in Jesus, whose presence cheered her as she crossed the river. The last wave of the hand was a sign of victory. She actually enjoyed religion. Her children and grandchildren may think of her as being with Jesus."
