Family Schneider (Wessolowo, Recklinghausen)

Dear Madam/Sir

I am writing a letter seeking information about the family of my great grandfather, Johann SCHNEIDER. Johann SCHNEIDER was born on 12.12.1878 in a small village called Wessolowo in the North-East of Poland (district of Lubawa - Löbau in German). The parents of Johann were Johann SCHNEIDER and Anna BARTKOWSKA and were living in Wessolowo.

Johann left Poland and mary Franziska SUCHOCKA in Recklinghausen(West Germany, Ruhr) on 09.10.1905. The family lived in Recklinghausen, Herten-Scherlebeck and then Herne.

Then the family of Johann SCHNEIDER left Germany and arrived in the north of France in 1920 (Vieux-Condé, near Valenciennes).

Johann had a brother, Michael SCHNEIDER, who also left Wessolowo and lived in Recklinghausen.

According to my grandfather Michal stayed in Recklinghausen and was living in the Rülerstrasse or Rülherstrasse in Recklinghausen or Herten-Scherlebeck and had a son. Michael was older than Johann and was school director. But in 1960, we lost contact with him. We would like to make contact with the SCHNEIDER family from Michael again.

Thank you in advance if you can help me.

With best wishes,

Franck Schneider
