I agree with my friend Reinhold that the Schneck and Schnug names are distinct and not related (from my research on Schnecks). You probably have researched "Westerwald to America" by Burgert & Jones. There is a Johann Adam Schnug from Nordhofen listed therein. In "More Palatine Families", Hank Jones includes some Schnuch's from Nordhofen also. Also, Frederick Schnock has a Berks Co PA will, d. Pinegrove (now Schuylkill Co). Some Schnock's buried at Salem-Hetzel's Church Cemetery near Pine Grove, along with Schnecks descended from my Adam SchnEck lines.
