I'm at a loss. My father's father died 7 weeks before my dad was born and his father's side of the family left the picture. I have never met another Schneck other than my immediate family. My grandmother's name was Florence Weinstock, and she had two children, my father and aunt. My grandfather's name was Sam Schneck. I believe he had some siblings but I really don't have any information on that. I believe the family line goes back to Austria, but my grandparents met and lived in Brooklyn. I also remember hearing something about Rhode Island in their history.
If anyone knows anything about that sect of Schnecks I'd be very interested in talking more. I probably have cousins that I never knew about, and I'd like to know. The name may end with me and my brother.
