Dr. Schneck's place, Eddington, [PA?], painting

The November 2004 issue of MAINE ANTIQUE DIGEST magazine on p. 9C has an advertisement in black and white picturing an excellent 1870 painting of "Doctor Schneck's Place, Eddington." The painting is a study by the American artist Xanthus Russell Smith (1839-1929).

The advertisement does not give Dr. Schneck's first name or dates.

I am scanning this page in case any of Dr. Schneck's
descendants might like a copy, either by email or by postal mail. Someone in the Schneck family ought to have it--it's too good to be missed by the family.

My email address can be found by clicking on my name above.

If it were a portrait of a Mr. Pease, I'd sure want someone to do the same for me.

Bill Pease, Lancaster, PA
