Maria Catharina Schluter/Schlauter/Schlatter... was born 03 April 1831 in a village in Tyrol Austria. She married Andreas Walch (b: 26 December 1821). They came to US in 1858-59 with two small children and moved to Wisconsin. They are my gg grandparents.
Children born in Austria are:
Carolina B: 25 December 1854 in Tyrol
Louisa B: 11 March 1856
They have several other children in the US.
Andreas' family is said to be inn keepers in a small village near Innsbruck... If you find a connection - I have photos and access to all the recent history
