My ex-husband was Patrick Schlueter. I am researching the Schlueter family for my daughter. Here is what I know.
Henry Schlueter was married to Mary Ellen ? prior to 1918. They had a son Henry Wesley Schlueter born in 1918. 1st Henry served in France (Battle of the Argonne Forest). At some point Mary Ellen died and he remarried an Elizabeth Sach. I was under the impression that Henry Wesley Schlueter was very young when his mother died, perhaps even at birth. They lived in Kirkwood, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis. When Henry Wesley was grown he entered the Navy and served in Chicago during WW2. He married Mary Margaret McLoughlin in Chicago. They had two children, Patrick and John. Mary died around 1956.
The first Henry died about 1976 0r 77. I have just heard that Henry Wesley died about 4 years ago. If anyone has information on the origins of this branch of the Schlueter family please contact. Thank you.
