I am trying to find any descendants of CHARLES CONRAD SCHLUETER who changed his name to SLATER. He was born in Newington, London in 1878. He went to Africa probably South Africa in the early 1900s as did his brother Edward. They developed a business of taking and showing films in picture houses. Are there any descendants out there? Charles died fairly young and his wife did not keep in contact with his family.
