HENRI FRANZ SCHLOTTMANN

The funeral service for Henri Franz Schlottmann will be held in the Olympic Memorial Gardens Chapel on Monday, starting at 11 a.m., under the direction of Selene and Eros Mortuary. Burial will
follow in Olympic Memorial Gardens. Mr. Schlottmann died Sunday, February 9, 1975, in Braunschweig, Germany, while on a visit. His home was at 2316 Walnut Road. He was born in Timmerlah, Germany, on Dec. 15, 1890. and came to the United States at the age of 18. He was married to Clara
Edgbert in Arcadia, in 1914. She died here in 1972. He had been a gardener for Henry McCleary and he and his wife supervised the Salvation Army Transient Center in 1929.
He had been a yard foreman for Olympia Oil and Wood Products prior
to retirement. He was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church, the Young a Heart Club of the Salvation Army and the Thurston County Pioneer and Historical Society. Surviving are two sons, Franz H. and David F., Olympia; two daughters, Mrs. Harley (Ruth) Layton, Olympia, and Mrs. Edward (Sibyl) Wendler, Rainier, two sisters, Mrs. Ella Schmidt and Mrs. Lotta Heitefuss, in Germany; two brothers Helmut and Ernst Wruck, in Germany; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. The family
suggests any memorials be made in the
form of donations to the Memorial Fund
of the Christian Missionary Alliance
Church or to the Young at Heart Club of
the Salvation Army.
