Thank You so much for your reply. I had a feeling that he was cutting ice, given the month and year and being in the production of ice cream. Guess my feeling was right. I am so very sorry for your family's loss. He was so young.

Bremen, Indiana is still a small town and it has so much rich history that your family helped to build. A lot of hard work in those days. We have all enjoyed Schlosser Dairy Products at one time or another. I was born in 1948 and I remember. I am researching my own family and local history is fascinating. I read some of the Schlosser history and that too is facinating. Thank You again.
