To Mae Cox re: John Schlosser: I believe John Schlosser was my great uncle. My grandfather, Leopold Schlosser came to Olean in 1905-06. His sponsor (ellis island records) was Johann Schlosser of Olean. I believe Johann was a brother to Michael Schlosser who was my great grandfather. All my relatives are from Austria. John Schlosser still resides in Olean. I would like to find out the connection between John of Olean and my Grandfather, Leopold. There were knitting mills in Olean and some of the relatives came here and sought work in them. I have more info...please contact me. Leopold came over with Herman Weiser/wiser, his nephew. Leo eventually lived in Buffalo with his wife Marie ( Hetzendorfer ),and children: Bertha/Mary/Hilda/Frederick Schlosser. I am: dlkryst@verizon.net
