Hi Kimm,
In response to your posting on Andrew Schlosser, I have the following information in my genealogy data base:Andrew's daughter Jane was married to John Willis Hancock. They had the following children:Charles A. Hancock, John E. Hancock, Ray W. Hancock, and Franklin Harvey Hancock. Here is the obituary of Frank H. Hancock from The Bryan (Ohio) Press, March 30, 1933:"Frank Harvey Hancock and family, just over the line in Tiffin near school No. 4 were at Florida Sunday to see the daughter Blanche who was employed there, and on the return home he sustained an apoplectic stroke from which he passed away at 2:30 p.m. last Tuesday, March 21, aged 54, survived by the widow (Rosaltha Agnes Hanna), to whom he was married Nov 11, 1897, ten children, Walter of Marysdale, Guy of Evansport, Vera, 9Mrs. Ervin Balbaugh) of Ft. Wayne, Dale of Evansport, Blanche, Herbert, Manford, Richard, Olive and Burril at home, grandchildren, three older brothers, Charles A. of Tiffin, John e. of Washington, Ray W. of near Bryan, and other relatives and friends. He was the youngest of four sons of J Willis and Jane Schlosser Hancock of Tiffin, and all his life was spent in the township where he farmed and also was a thresher and ran a sawmill for years. He was a hard-working man and a good citizen. The funeral was held Friday afternoon at Ney Church of God Bethel, conducted by the pastor, Rev. John H. Tipple, with interment at Ney, where the oldest child, Henry C., who preceded the father in infancy was buried.Mrs. H. is a daughter of old Washington township residents, Harry and Rachel (Keller) Hanna."All of the places mentioned in this obit are in Williams County, Ohio.I am searching the Hancock line but would appreciate any other info you could provide me on the Schlossers. What is the book that you and Richard were discussing?Hope this info helps you.
