I am searching for "Eli Sly". Have found him listed on 1860 census from St. Louis. According to this census, Eli "Sly" was born in NY 1798. He is listed with wife Mary from Canada, daughter Mary age 16, Eli jr. age 12, Francis age 6 (this is Matilda Francis - our ggrandmother she later married Albert Crouch) There is also a George living nearby which we believe may be another son ; he also was born NY. Have been unable to even locate information concering Eli jr. In fact,have been unable to locate any information concerning this family. We thought perhaps the spelling may not have been correct. If anyone knows anything about this family, PLEASE respond. Have been trying to locate them for over 20 years. Appreciate the help.Thanks Pat
