I have found information about the Schleyer family from San Antonio, Tx...Emil, Pauline, & Christian. There are Schleyer intermarriages and also marriages with Huck & Nordhaus. This is a collateral line and I'm not a descendant...only putting families together. Have immigration to Galveston of Emil [b.ca 1840] in 1857 and Christian [b ca 1816] in 1848. It looks like Pauline, d/o Christian Schleyer, m. 2nd ca 1876 Emil Schleyer after the death of F [Frank?} A. Huck ca 1868. Maybe this will help someone who's confused about the Schleyer family.
My only connection is Emilie Huck b. ca 1866, a child of Frank and Pauline who married Eugene Nordhaus in 1887 in San Antonio.
