Hello, was playing around on the internet and
came accross your geaneology search. I am a
schlachter transplanted from Michigan in 1979 to Danville, Ky. I have found my great great gransfather came from Germany to
Cincinnatti and later moved to Michigan. Also found where he had fought in the civil
war around Kentucky before going to michigan.
I suspect that part of the clan stayed in
the Cincinnati area but am not sure. There
are Schlacher's here in central kentucky.
