Hi, Stephanie,
I just found your web page. I am the daughter of Theodore J. Schneider of Cosby, MO. (deceased in 1952). His mother was Anna Bolliger; his grandfather Bolliger was pastor of Hope Church.
I know very little about the Schneider branch, except that five brothers from Switzerland settled there and worshiped under a large tree before the church was built. I would love to know where in Switzerland they came from, and if the other families (Schindlers, Romangs, etc.) came from the same place. I exchange Christmas greetings with Luella Schindler, who looked after my Aunt Velma Schneider in a local nursing home.

If you have any information on the locale in Switzerland where these families originated, I would be most interested. The "Romang" name is very interesting too. I remember my aunts talking about a Romang friend or relative.

I hope you are still actively involved in your research. Sorry it took me four years to find you! Best wishes,
Marianne Schneider Bahmann
