Susanne, There is great site you need to look at called Galizien German Descendants at
You can purchase village family church books records from them. They have records for all names, Schick, Lieb, Metzger and Nessel. You will be albe to tell better if they are the correct families when you look at the references. It is inexpensive and you can find so much information.
I am related to the Bernhard Schick family, his daughter, Katharine Schick is my grt-grandmother. Katharine had a brother Karl b. 17.07.1862 in Felsendorf/Gal.(now Poland), Bapt. 25.07.1862 in Lubaczow/Galicia (now Poland). Our ancesters could be related. They are from the same area in Poland.
Contact me if you have any questions or information.
