I am looking for the parents and siblings of Nicholas Schenk/Schank born January 7, 1835 in Prussia (Germany). He married Catherine (Katty) Martin on Feb. 18 1860 in Boonville, Cooper County, Missouri. Nicholas Schank is listed as one of the original families of St. Martins Catholic Church in Martinsville, (Pilot Grove Township) Missouri (1870). He is found in this same area in 1887 as a farmer.
About 1893 this family moved to Windthorst, Archer County, Texas. He died there January 28 1916.
His children were: John (Johannes) 1861- died young,
Leoh (prob. Leonhard) 1865 - died young, John N. (1867-1887),
Mary Eva 1869-1916, Elizabeth 1871 - died young, Apollonia Catherine 1873-1956, Leonard Nicholas 1874-1921, Frank J. 1877-1959.
