I am doing research for my mother-in-law, Joanne Schell Thompson and my wife, Schelly. We have been able to trace their Schell lineage back to Johan Frederick Carl Schell. We are unsure of his date of birth but believe it to be between 1710-1720. He was born in Besigheim, Wuertemberg, Germany. He came to the USA and settled in Schoharie, NY where he married Marie Barbara Zahe (Zeh). If anyone has any information on Johan we would appreciate it if you would contact us.
