Simeon Schell was the son of John J. Schell, Jr. m to Anna Hilts. John fought in the was of 1812.
This line eventually goes back to John b. Jan 7, 1731/32 in Baden-Baden, Germany d. Aug 1, 1802 in Mohawk Valley, NY married to Barbara Rasbach brother to Christian Schell born abt 1725 in Baden-Baden- Germany, d. July 8, 1782 in Schell's Bush, NY. married to Maria Petree.
Simeon was married to Elizabeth Dygert b. Mar 7, 1821. She was the daughter of Peter Deuchert and Elizabeth Helmer.
There children were as follows: (some of them can be confirmed from the 1850 census of Orleans, Jefferson Co., NY)

Harriet Adelia his twin d. Dec 28, 1938 married Nathaniel Irving Downs married second a Mr. drake
D. Ellsworth.
Does anyone have the descendents of any of these lines???
I am looking for a Philo born in 1865. He may have been a son of one of the children listed above.
