Hi,
I have the following about Mary Catherine/William Coxson.
Mary Catherine Schell (b Oct 15, 1804 in Markham tsp, Ontario, d March 25, 1890 in Sugarcreek tsp, Vanango co, Pennsylvania) married William Coxson March 7, 1822 in Richmond Hill, Markhan tsp, Ontario. He b 1802, d Apr 1850 in Lockport, Niagara co, NY.
He was a drunkard and died after a bar room fight. He was buried in Potters field.
They had 14 children

2. John Paul b 1824 in MT
3. Elizabeth Ann b Mar 14, 1825 in MT
4. Charles Sheldon b Feb 19, 1827 in MT
5. Mary Ann b June 15, 1828 in MT. You say she m Joseph Shaffstall. Thank you for this info.
6. William b Nov 11, 1829 in MT
7. Margaret b Oct 29, 1833 in MT
8. Martha b Aug 22,1834 in MT
9. Sarah Ellen b Aug 1836 in Veango Co, pennsylvania (VC)
10. Alexander b 1838 in VC
11. Mary Louisa b Apr 1839 in VC
12.Nancy Ann b Mar 2, 1840 in VC
13. Alexander Ross b July 28, 1843 in VC
14. Eliza Ann b 1846.
Mary Catherine's grandfather was John Christian Schell (of the battle of Schells Bush fame). I am from J C Schell through his son Mark the twin.
