Wow!!!! After so long searching I FINALLY stumbled across a German website with the meaning of Scheibler tonight!!! This is so exciting to me! I'm sure a lot of you must know what the name means, but just in case you don't, here it is - in the original German (how it was written on the website) and my computers translation of it into English: Scheibler Fuhrmann, der Salz in Blöcken oder Scheiben beförderte Scheibler: wagoner, who carried salt in blocks or disks I hope you don't get mad at me for putting this in this "Scheible" forum - but there WAS no "Scheibler" forum! :( Do you think this is also the meaning for Scheible - or did Scheible come from Scheibler? I'm no expert - so I hope I'm not offending anyone with my small knowledge of German... I wish you all happy hunting! Thanks! Deborah Notify Administrator about this message?
